Tove Jansson novel Wizards hat (Trollkarlens hatt in Swedish, Taikurin hattu in Finnish) is the most beloved Moomin novel. Finnish first edition from 1948. With Janssons own, beautiful illustration. Published by Schildt at Helsinki Finland. Wizards hat was Janssons breakthrough as an author, her books before this one werent successful. This is also the fist book Schildt published by Jansson. Book itself is in a wonderful condition. No marks. In cover you can see there are some patina of age, but overall the condition is great. The book is Finnish 1st edition, but the language is of course Swedish, which was Finnish Swedish Janssons mother tongue. This is a gem, extremely rare book.
