The key task is ensuring all tender bids are compliant, submitted on time and including all requested and relevant information according to the tender specification. In addition, the TM is responsible for certain activity in the pre-tender bid phase, e.g. participate in tender hearings and in post tender award phase, e.g. evaluate the tender outcome. The TM is also responsible for the continuous development and maintenance of the tender database.We hope you havePost-graduate education in business, finance, law or similarMinimum 5 years of experience within tender work – either from a similar position or from a purchaser position - developing the tender materialExperience in producing comprehensive and compelling technical and commercial bid documents in line with the customer requirements and able to work to tight deadlines and on multiple tenders at onceKnowledge of the pharmaceutical and/or medical device business is an advantageGood project leadership and presentation skillsGood knowledge of MS-office, database managementFluent in Finnish and English (oral and written)Valid driver’s license for vehicles class BMain AccountabilitiesYou will monitor upcoming tenders and timely inform relevant stakeholders on any upcoming or released tenders. Participate in tender hearings and manage process to clarify tender bid conditions during the tender preparation phase. Plan operational tender work once tender has been released including review, pricing, collecting information and documents, creating the material for submitting the tenders, etc.Review tender strategy and pricing proposals together with country management with special focus on profitability and viability of pricing proposals. Ensuring all tender bids are compliant, submitted on time and including all requested and relevant information according to the tender specification. Proactively participate in and lead meetings with tender bodies to discuss general tender performance, tender contract extensions, negotiation of commercial terms, future tender requirements, etc.You will also be a main contact person for all tender contracts and tender bodies. Evaluate the tender outcome and timely inform relevant stakeholders about tender outcomes. Select and coordinate external legal counsels in case of any disputes. Post tender award the TM must ensure wholesalers and distributors receive the relevant tender prices. Support in building and maintaining a tender universe for pharma and medical device tenders. Ensure proper onboarding and training of all new personnel on tender matters.
