Therefore, it is no surprise that more than 50% of consumers are worried about someone taking over their online accounts or becoming a target for identity theft. F-Secure launched ID PROTECTION service during 2020 that helps consumers protect themselves against these threats. The service alerts consumers if their personal information is part of a breached service and gives specific instructions on how to recover from the incident with minimum damage.
