We are looking for Operative Quality Specialist at ABB Oy, IEC LV Motors factory in Vaasa. Your main role is to be an active and co-operative driver between production and other departments to ensure continuous quality development. The key target is to ensure high quality performance of the final product. You work in close co-operation with quality, production, design, and product development, purchasing and SCM. In this role you will report to Quality Control Manager. Your responsibilities - Actively develop and support quality improvements in product and production quality to meet customer requirements - Support production in quality related questions and issues - Issue resolution in co-operation with several departments (e.g. production, design, R&D, purchasing) - Operational handling of non-conformities in incoming inspection and production - Support quality performance monitoring and reporting - Participation of local level quality tools and process development and guidelines improvements - Support or conduct both internal and supplier audits to aim continuously improve both component, final product and production process quality - Leading and supporting of development actions in own responsibility area Your background - B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree from a relevant technical field - Few years applicable experience, e.g. from quality, manufacturing or purchasing - Knowledge of quality tools and methods and manufacturing methods - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions - Excellent co-operation skills - Good written and oral Finnish and English skills.
