1960s' horror starring Susan Strasberg as the wheelchair-bound Penny Appleby. After escaping a near-fatal drowning accident, Penny resumes her life in the French Riviera with her step-mother, Jane (Ann Todd). However, Penny begins to worry when everyone around her, including Doctor Gerrard (Christopher Lee), seems to be acting in a strange manner. To make matters worse, she has been seeing the body of her deceased father. She asks chauffeur Bob (Ronald Lewis) for help as she attempts to find out the truth about what is really going on.
