Double bill of horror thrillers directed by Bob Kelljan. In 'Count Yorga, Vampire' (1970), Donna (Donna Anders) is desperate to make contact with her deceased mother and hosts a séance led by a Bulgarian mystic called Count Yorga (Robert Quarry), who recently moved to America from Europe. After returning the Count to his Southern Californian mansion, Donna begins to feel strange. With her behaviour becoming increasingly erratic and having acquired a lust for blood, it's not long before her friends suspect that the mysterious Count Yorga might be the cause. In 'The Return of Count Yorga' (1971), the Count relocates to San Francisco where he begins to prey on the occupants of a local orphanage. However, he runs into trouble after falling in love with young teacher Cynthia (Mariette Hartley), who does all she can to fight off the Count's deadly advances.Brand new 2K restorations by Arrow Films of Count Yorga, Vampire and The Return of Count Yorga from new 4K scans of the original 35mm camera negativesHigh Definition Blu-Ray (1080p) presentations of both filmsOriginal lossless mono audioOptional English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearingIllustrated perfect bound collector's book featuring new writing by film critic Kat Ellinger and horror author Stephen Laws, plus archive contributions by critic Frank Collins and filmmaker Tim SullivanLimited edition packaging with reversible sleeves featuring original and newly commissioned artwork by Heather VaughanFold-out double-sided posters for both films featuring original and newly commissioned artwork by Heather VaughanTwelve double-sided, postcard-sized lobby card reproduction artcardsReproduction pressbook for Count Yorga, VampireDISC ONE COUNT YORGA, VAMPIREBrand new audio commentary by film critic Tim LucasArchival audio commentary by film critics David Del Valle & C.
