Computer executive Tom Sanders (Michael Douglas) misses out on promotion to a new face in the company - the power-dressing go-getter Meredith Johnson (Demi Moore). Coincidentally an ex-lover of now happily married Tom, Meredith attempts to revive old passions, but when her advances are spurned she takes revenge; the next morning Tom is accused of sexually harassing her.
