David Bowie is often considered to be one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century, acclaimed by critics and fellow musicians, particularly for his innovative work during the 1970s. The live recordings of Santa Monica 1972 were only available as a bootleg for more than 20 years. Some consider it to be the best recorded show of David Bowie. This David Bowie Broadcast Collection also contains some collaborations with Iggy Pop, on the second disc Live at Chicago Mantra Studios 1977, and Nine Inch Nails, on the Back In Anger Live 1995 record. The late, great pop chameleon once played a short acoustic set and fielded audience questions at one of the most intimate venues in Atlanta on April 8th 1997. The live recording Seven Months In America 1997 is highlighted by a tear-inducing “Scary Monsters” and “Seven Years in Tibet”.
