Laura Gemser plays Emanuelle, an undercover reporter, who goes into a women's prison to expose the corruption and violence that the sadistic warden Lorraine De Selle imposes on the inmates. She is discovered, however, and is locked in a cell filled with dirty rats as punishment. She eventually manages to escape but not before witnessing the torture and violent sex the prisoners must endure. Also known as 'Emanuelle in Prison'.
